Fabiana’s day to day life at Villa Adeje Beach
Fabiana has only been working at our hotel for a year, but it has been enough to make it feel like her second home. With her kindness and her characteristic smile, she spreads joy to all her colleagues.
Her day at the hotel starts early in the morning, when she start preparing the trolleys with the necessary products. Cleaning at Villa Adeje Beach starts in the common areas: reception, restaurant, swimming pool, corridors.
Once she has finished with them, Fabiana continues with the rooms. First she goes to the occupied rooms and then continues with the departing guests. Every day, new guests arrive at the hotel, so she and her colleagues make sure that the flats and studios are ready for the next guest.
How is Villa Adeje Beach customer service?
Fabiana has worked in other hotels before, and although the tasks are very similar, there is something that sets Villa Adeje apart from other hotels: closeness and familiarity.
Despite the fast pace of everyday life, she says she always tries to keep in touch with the guests. “At Villa Adeje Beach you get to know the client very well because there are people who arrive in December and leave in February.
If there is one thing that characterises our hotel, it is that there are many repeat guests. “I’ve been working at the hotel for a year and there are already guests who have come twice”, says Fabiana. So much so that she tells us that “there are guests who always come and keep their things. They bring their chairs, their coffee pots, personal objects and we keep them for when they come back”.
When you ask her about her favourite clients, she is clear: “The children are the nicest because they always amuse with their sincerity… they are the best”. Every day there are many anecdotes that happen at Villa Adeje Beach. One of the aspects that Fabiana emphasises the most in her dealings with the clients is the language. “You are so used to speaking English that sometimes a client speaks to you in Spanish and you continue to speak to him in English”, she laughs.
“At Villa Adeje Beach we are a small family”.
Fabiana is clear: what she likes most about her job is the camaraderie. “We all know each other and form a small family”, she says. This is so much the case that many of them already know each other’s partners and children, and have a relationship that goes beyond work.
In short, the good atmosphere among the whole team, she says, makes his work more special and fun.
