5 Plans to enjoy Christmas in Tenerife

5 Plans to enjoy Christmas in Tenerife

December is here and with it comes what for many is the best time of the year, Christmas. Although the last two Christmases have been somewhat atypical, at Villa Adeje Beach we don’t want you to give up any plans this year. Today in our blog we bring you 5 plans so that you can enjoy a real Christmas in Tenerife. Are you in?

Christmas in Adeje

If you feel like staying close to the hotel located in Tenerife South, we recommend the Christmas programme that the municipality of Adeje has prepared for all those who want a Christmas full of plans. From Christmas carols, children’s theatres, concerts, handing out letters to Father Christmas and the Three Wise Men, to craft fairs.

If you want a programme full of activities, Adeje is the ideal place. The town hall has thought of a wide range of Chrismas activities for the whole family, from the youngest to the oldest members of the family, not to be missed!

Christmas at Siam Mall

Would you like to go shopping in Tenerife to one of the best Christmas environments? The Siam Mall is the place for you. With its Christmas decorations and range of activities for the little ones, you’ll have a great time.

This large surface has a year-round programme of activities for the whole family. However, this Christmas they have created one exclusively for the festive season. They offer musical shows, shows, Christmas cinema and visits from Father Christmas and the Three Magic Kings, among others.

All this entertainment along with its restaurants and unbeatable decorations will make for an incredible Christmas shopping experience.

Christmas lighting

If there is one thing that stands out at Christmas in Tenerife at this time of year, it is the Christmas decorations and lighting. Each and every one of the municipalities has its own Christmas lights, so wherever you go you will find a great spectacle.

If you are looking for the best Christmas lights, you should definitely visit La Laguna, Santa Cruz, Puerto de la Cruz or La Orotava. Each of these municipalities has various places where Christmas lights illuminate the streets. They also have special programmes such as nativity scenes, concerts, exhibitions and Christmas markets.

Visiting El Teide

At this time of the year and until February or March, El Teide is dressed in white. Although the snow is not abundant at the moment, the view of its snow-capped peak is absolutely unbeatable.

Whether you go to the north or the south of the island, its nature and landscape will leave you speechless. Many onlookers take advantage of these months to have their photos taken next to this natural monument that characterises the island of Tenerife.

Remember to always wear warm clothes and take care as it is a long way to get there.

First bath of the year

Can you think of a better way to start the year than with a dip in one of the best beaches in Tenerife South? Less than a ten minute walk away you will find La Pinta Beach and Torviscas Beach where you can leave 2021 behind. Two ideal beaches to start the year in the best way.

Do you dare to forget the cold for a few seconds and start this new year in a special way?

Now that you know what to do during your Christmas holidays while staying at our all-inclusive hotel in Tenerife, do you know which one to start with? We assure you that you will want to do them all!
